I made this flower from batiks I found at Mill End. I seem to be making a habit of going there. If only I would remember to bring my scissors so they can sharpen them. I mixed a dark pink matte fabric with a textured lighter pink that has touches of white and a softer orange. I love how it turned out. Batiks are a dream to work with.

This hat was ordered for a
baptismal gift. This yarn has a natural stretch. I made the hat warm enough for our winter days but with a spring feel so she can wear it longer. Thanks Lisa! I hope they liked it.

This hat is for
Tenley. Her Grandma made her a scarf out if this yarn and had some left over. I was able to use the left over yarn for her hat. I can't wait to see it on her. It's the most soft wool I've worked with! It's not
itchy at all. I love it. I've noticed the yarn shops don't have it much anymore but you can find it at
The Yarn Market. It's called
Rowan Tapestry. I used a size 7 needle. It's a smooth knit!
