More Mandy pics

Hi Everybody,

Here's some more photos from a session with Mandy. I am forever grateful that I have professional pictures of my hats on adorable children. A knitter's dream...

There are no words...

What could I possibly say about these new Mandy pictures?!? Words seem silly.

Adult Hat

I am in love with this fabric. It has so many colors in it. It's fun for a little girl but sophisticated enough for us grown ups. Jen, do you think she'll like it?

Oh my...

Whenever I make hats for siblings the one I've just completed quickly replaces the previous as my favorite. I hope that means my creative juices are still flowin'! This button is from our "Cookie Grandma". Thanks M!

Anna!

This is Anna. Her Momma was kind enough to share this great picture. Isn't she a doll?!?! Thanks Michelle!

Come on! Ava and Preslee in their new hats...

It's safe to say that human beings don't get any cuter! Ava has been hangin' out with our family since she was a babe. In fact, our dog, Chloe, bit her once. I was such a wreck I made Anthony call and tell her parents. Of course, they thought it was no big deal. Thank God! I'll tell that story at her wedding :)
Preslee's Momma said that she cried when Mandy tried to take the hat off! She really knows how to make a knitter feel good :) Isn't this green gorgeous? I love the way the yarn looks too...chunky and smooth. Oh how I love to make hats for little ones....

Thanks for sharing Mandy and Moni!

A new boy hat!

This is my first hat like this. I love how it turned out. A little twist to the regular boy stripe. I hope you like it Anne!

Bailey and Kendall

Here are Kendall and Bailey in their hats. Mandy took these amazing pictures. The little guy in the wagon is their baby brother, Jared.

The boys are still sleeping so I'll sneak in another post...

Here's a couple of shots I took quick of the quilt I did for Graham. It was fun doing freehand quilting. It's relaxing and it feels less structured than the other steps that go into making the quilt.

This is Keepsakes Cabin. It's gorgeous inside and out.
This was our view from our work spaces.
Here's the craft area. It looks relatively clean in this pic because it was right before we were all leaving. Thanks for the great time ladies!

Back from a Great Crafting Weekend...

Some of these hats are being auctioned off at A Red Carpet Affair Gala put on by Children's Hospital Association. Anthony and I went last year and had a great time. We got all dressed up and danced until the wee hours of the night. All for a good cause! Our son, Gavin, was a preemie and we will forever be grateful to Children's Hospital for the care they gave him.

Sorry about the hurried photos. The more hats I do the sloppier my photos seem to get. The pics I took in my car were my last chance to get record of them before they go on their way. I'm addicted, now, to getting a picture of each of my hats. I'm planning on putting my blog in book form each year to act as a knitting/life journal. I've heard Blurb.com does a good job.
I'll post some pictures of Keepsakes Craft Cabin and the quilt I did for Graham tomorrow. Have a great day!

My Mom's "Semper Fi" Hat

My Mom knit this hat and bootie set for some dear friends' Great Grandchild just born 10 days early. His Dad is being deployed soon...now he has 10 extra days with his Daddy. For those of you that don't know (I didn't) Semper Fi means "Always Faithful"... it's the marine moto. Cheers to this entire family for the sacrifices they will make to ensure our freedom here in America. God Bless You!

A new favorite

Here's a new hat I just finished. I just love all the fabrics at Fat Quarter Quilting. They do a great job of displaying fabrics that work well together for those of us that are new to the fabric world. :)

Bailey's Hat

Bailey's Mom, Robynn, brought over this sweater and asked for a hat to match. I got going on it and couldn't stop! Hopefully it will fit her for a few years. Kendall, yours is next!

Kenly!

Here's Kenly in her hat! What a doll! Thanks for sharing Jen...glad the kiddos have them. The mornings are getting chilly.
