When we built our house almost 3 years ago we asked my parents to join us. We finished our walk-out level for them and it was the best decision we made! They have their own entrance, kitchen and laundry. They have their privacy, but don't have to worry about the yard and such. And they help us so much with the boys. I love that the kids get to see them in every day life. Gavin thinks we will live in his basement when he gets married. :)One of the perks of having my Mom around is the gardens! This is what our backyard looks like right now. Thanks Mom!
